The incident which occurred on Tuesday April 18th, 2017 at 6am, and started when Mariah Gutierrez called a locksmith for help. She informed the locksmith that she needed help getting into her property on the 2500 block of South Presa . Once th

e locksmith arrived at the house he found more than he bargained for. Two men popped out and drew guns on the locksmith, with one pointing a green laser sight onto the locksmiths face. The locksmith thought he and Gutierrez were both being robbed until he heard the men say “let’s go” after the robbery to her, and she jumped in the locksmith’s car with them and fled.

The two robbers and Gutierrez were found shortly after using the stolen cell phone’s GPS from the locksmith to locate the vehicle. The 23 year old Mariah Gutierrez is charged with aggravated robbery, which is a first degree felony, and a misdemeanor theft charge. She is currently being held on a $56,000 bond at Bexa County Jail.
