3 Tips to Avoid Being Locked Out| C & S Lock & Security

Here at C & S Lock & Security we are all about protecting our customers that is why we have complied a list of 3 Tips to help make sure you’re not locked out again. Follow these 3 simple tips to better prepare yourself in the future and make sure your never locked out again!

  1. Create A Routine – Creating a routine is one of the biggest ways you can make sure you never lock yourself out again. Make sure each time you get home you put your keys in the same spot so you never wonder where they might be. Also stick with this routine so that it becomes second nature where your keys are at all times.

  2. Leave a Spare Key – If you are prone to being locked out often it’s important to leave a spare key somewhere. This can be left with your neighbor or someone like a friend just as long as its someone you can trust. If you decide to hide the key make sure to do it in a spot only you would know about not the typical spots (under the door mat, fake rock).

  3. Know all the Access Points – It’s important that you are familiar with all of the access points to your home so that if you do lock yourself out you can get back in. It’s never a good idea to leave windows open in case you lock yourself out but in an emergency, it’s never a bad idea to check them.
